One of the touching films I’ve seen in the big screen. The story was about a teacher who gave up her career to work as a caregiver in U.K. She wanted to follow her husband and later on petition her son to be with them.
Unfortunately, she found out that her husband was not working as a nurse but a health aid, similar to janitor. Her husband soon felt ashamed of himself and started drinking and skipping his duty. In the end, he wanted to go back and was forcing Sarah to go back to the Philippines.
But Sarah, due to her adventure with a rich old man, William Morgan, learned about her own values and decided to stay there. The scene with William Morgan was touching. At first, the old grumpy man was shouting at her but when she spoke back the old man realized his mistake and became mellow. They became good friends until the old man died.
This movie showed that being true to your duty and learning to be more human could lead to friendship, warm, and kindness in life.

The Sex and the City tv series takes you through the lives of four not so young but still desirable New York City bachelorettes. The show though focuses mostly on Carrie Bradshaw, columnist and writer about sex, love and relationships. She is hopeful and ever-searching for Mr. Right but always seem to go back to Mr. Big.

Secretary Ignacio Bunye shall be leaving the Palace. If there is a person who joined and left the Arroyo Administration silently, but helped served the Office of the Press Secretary behind the scene by professionally stirring public opinion to re-focus back to good governance and remained neutral and apolitical despite series of political turmoil, it’s non - other than this person, who despite the Manila Peninsula siege manages to help entertain Palace guests by watching the Carpenter with Claire performing before them. After entering and leaving the palace silently, he remained humble. He has always been behind the scene in the film and showbiz industry, award giving bodies in the film industry, and in the music industry, promoting recording artists with their newly released records. He shall be celebrating the 3rd year of his show

In celebration of Judy Ann’s 30th birthday, she stars and produced a remarkable and ground-breaking film Ploning.
Judy Ann Santos stars as Ploning, a simple girl from Barrio Cuyo in Palawan, that embarks a simple relationship-based story to her father, lover and everybody else in their small Barrio. It may be one of Judy Ann’s best performance, a truly remarkable feat for her. Ploning conveys a simple message: Ang pag-ibig ay naghihintay at umaasa, na kahit sa anong paraan, maaari tayong magbigay ng pag-ibig sa lahat ng tao.

Amid the crisis, however, the CSC Forest represents bounty. Today, squirrels can be sighted in the forest including snakes and other wild animals. It represents an ideal environment beyond the four corners of a government edifice. It represents an environment of what our country should be.
We lost track of the trees we planted at the Department of Agriculture and NIA. It reminds us of the past, however, whenever we see flowers of rain trees blooms as rainy season approaches while we walk along the alley of the Office for Legal Affairs. We can only hope, however, that those trees are now as tall, as big and cared dearly, where squirrels can hide, live and play in peace, like in the Civil Service Commission’s Centennial Forest, presently under Acting Chair Cesar Buenaflor.

I happened to unearth my DVD copy of 300 last night, and, because I had nothing better to do, I decided to watch this hard-core guy movie again for the third time (or is it the fourth?).
Hard to believe, as I was the lone voice of dissent when two of my best girl friends picked this to be our detox movie of the week when it first came out last year. From the reviews I’d heard, I knew that with its requisite blood, gore, and body count - it was eons away from my usual fare of neuroses-inducing romantic comedies or intelligent thrillers. I was completely befuddled by my friends’ vehemence to see it, but so outvoted, I let them usher me into the theater like a lamb to slaughter.
And actually found myself glad that I did. But not just for the reasons you might think.

Tony Starks is a genius in making missiles. He developed the Jericho missiles which were very powerful. He was abducted by some terrorists who forced him to create missiles for them. Instead, he developed his first Iron Man armor using the weaponry stacked by these terrorists. He was able to escape and got back to the city. Before he left, he saw the scientist who revived his heart and helped him build the suit.
He had a change of heart and became more responsible. He perfected his armor and fought back the terrorists. His heart gadget was stolen and was used by his father’s friend to build an Iron Man suit which hit him hard. The gadget was able to power the enemy’s suit more than his old one.
Of course in the end, he was able to defeat the villain. In the end, he admitted being the Iron Man. Question is …. is there a sequel or none?

-iron man by black sabbath (heavy guitar distortion)
ako si iron man!
tignan mo yung sinasabi kong berdeng iron man dito!

The movie was about a pathology doctor who join a clinic. Unfortunately, a group of pathologists in the said clinic was psychotic. Their kind of play was that each one of them killed a human being and the others were made to guess how the victim died. He got involved and had his share of victims as well. That was until his fiancee joined him in his apartment and he realized that he must stopped this madness. He blew up the place where they hung out to get rid of the psychotics. But the leader was able to escape and killed his love. In the end, he got his revenge by paralyzing the leader while his colleague opened his chest. Nice vengeance.

Like all great movie trilogies, the second movie has to live up to the first, and maybe even try to surpass it. It also has to build the story and the conflict for the third movie’s awesome finish. On top of all that, it has to stand on its own. It has to be a strong enough movie so it won’t feel like just a bridge connecting two towers of AWESOME. That’s a lot of responsibility for a movie. Thank God this isn’t a movie. This is the second part of Cinemabuzz, Comicology, and Face Rockery’s collaborative list of the 15 Best Comic Book Movies of All Time! HAHAHAHAaaaiiineed a drink.
Now, before we start, make sure you’ve read the first part of the list over at Cinemabuzz. If you haven’t done that yet, please do so now. … Done? Awesome. Let’s go.
